Why am still using windows 10 in 2022?
Bugs
Windows 10 has been around for five years. With that in mind, you can expect Windows 10 to have little bug issues and that contributes to the performance of your system. Also to note Windows 10 has been very stable throughout the years.
Compatibility with most machines;
Windows 11 is a lot fussier in terms of system requirements compared to Windows 10. This is because of the numerous requirements put in place before install which have restricted many users like me from upgrading to Windows 11. Further still, the financial constraint especially purchasing a new PC that meets the requirements.
Microsoft support upto 2025
Microsoft says it will end support to Windows 10 in 2025 which is significant time to prepare for a transition to Windows 11. This is quite useful as it helps new users adjust to the new system.
Finally irrespective of the benefits that come with new Os, companies/businesses need time to align software to the requirements of the new Os; Hence the transition should be gradual as compatibility and other issues associated with software upgrades are sorted.
